Let’s be honest. Finding success in real estate can be VERY challenging. A lot of people struggle to survive in this profession, but it doesn’t have to be difficult if you’re working this business the right way. Systems are created for a reason to save time, money, and energy.

Use systems to keep from making the same decisions over and over again. Instead of thinking through a routine task again, put it on autopilot with a system. Use the time and mental energy saved to come up with creative marketing ideas, contact prospects, make a sale or negotiate better prices from distributors.

This specific blog is entering the topic of how a real estate professional can feel when a property they have listed or even invested money in to renovate a property has not sold. It may feel overwhelming, but here are a few tactics learned from tipster.com

It may be that the buyers in your market don’t agree with your price, Keep in mind…  this doesn’t necessarily mean your price is wrong (although this is a possibility), but it DOES mean that in some way, you are failing to communicate this value to your buyers in a way that they can believe. Sometimes it’s because your pictures are terrible, sometimes it’s because you haven’t provided enough basic information, and sometimes you just haven’t conveyed WHY your property is so valuable (location, comps, features, potential uses, etc.

IF there is a buyer with the means & desire to buy your property, your promotional efforts haven’t reached them yet.

“In many instances, it all boils down to a simple lack of promotion. You’ve said all the right stuff, you’ve clearly communicated the value and you’ve provided all the right information – but you’re not using a big enough loudspeaker.

For all intents and purposes, if your message isn’t reaching the right people, it doesn’t matter what you say or how good your listing is. If you haven’t figured out how to get in front of your ideal buyers…  it’s all for nothing. For this reason, it is imperative that you put the necessary effort into promoting your listings thoroughly. Getting your property in front of the right eyeballs is a big deal. If you fail to do this, all of your other marketing efforts are literally wasted energy.”

Promoting your listing in more place would definitely be valuable as it would get more activity, letting them know what you have to offer with a powerful description and eye catching Ad. Promote your listings more frequently; also renewing your ads due to ads getting pushed off the front page pretty quickly. If it came down to it maybe even making improvements to the property, the trick is to simply figure out what additional feature can be done for ex. Building a carport or attach a garage to the home if it doesn’t have one. If buyers are saying No? Ask them why; it pays to know the needs and greeds of the buyers in order to get to work on it.
